Refund & Cancellation Policy

At 24ADR, we understand that circumstances may change and appointments may need to be rescheduled or cancelled. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund procedures.

Appointment Cancellations

Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment by contacting 24ADR via phone or email.

More than 48 Hours Notice

Where a cancellation is made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time, any prepaid fees will be refunded in full or credited towards a future booking.

Less than 48 Hours Notice

Where a cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment, 50% of the booking fee may be retained to cover administrative and scheduling costs.

Less than 24 Hours Notice

Where a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the appointment, or the client fails to attend without notice, the full booking fee may be forfeited.

 

Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule an appointment without penalty where reasonable notice is provided. Requests are subject to availability.

Mediation and Conference Services

For Family Dispute Resolution, mediation sessions, Family Group Conferences, workplace mediation or other professional services involving preparation work, additional cancellation fees may apply where significant preparation has already been undertaken.

Any such fees will be discussed with the client prior to invoicing.

Refunds

Refunds will generally be processed within 7–10 business days using the original payment method.

Refunds will not be provided where:

  • Services have already been delivered.

  • The client fails to attend a scheduled appointment.

  • The client chooses not to proceed after services have commenced.

  • Preparation work has already been completed.

Exceptional Circumstances

24ADR understands that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances may arise. Cancellation fees may be waived at the sole discretion of 24ADR in cases involving genuine emergencies.

Cancellation by 24ADR

If 24ADR needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered:

  • A full refund; or

  • An alternative appointment time.
